Ayla Trotman
Ayla, a San Francisco Bay Area native, initially discovered the practice of yoga in 2019 during a difficult and transitional time in her life; and was immediately hooked! Not only did she experience a physical transformation, she also witnessed a healing of her emotional and mental bodies through her yoga practice. Once she experienced the growth and healing yoga has to offer, she knew she wanted to share it with others and completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training.
In her classes, Ayla incorporates physical asana, pranayama (breath work), mindfulness and meditation to demonstrate that when we create balance and harmony within ourselves and on our mats, we can also find it in our lives. She meets students where they are on their individual journeys, and creates a safe and supportive environment for students of all levels to heal, grow and have fun. Her interests in Ayurveda, Chakras, Alignment & Yoga Philosophy fuel her to broaden her perspective and deepen her understanding of yoga and life. Ayla’s teaching is inspired by the transformative power of yoga and rooted in the belief that, through self-exploration, compassion and acceptance, we are able to access our most authentic self.
